You know, one thing about riding a bike in traffic is you can see what people are doing in their cars and trucks -- drinking coffee, fiddling with the radio, etc.

It is alarming how often I see people texting. Most of these cases (but not all!) are when they are sitting at a traffic light. I can only hope they put it down when the light turns green.

I'm sure you've all notices a new trend -- green-light no-go drivers. The signal changes, but the car doesn't budge ... because the driver is sending a text to his girlfriend.
