Guystyle, you should ignore most of the comments on this thread. These guys are just hating. A company called FMB makes a tire specifically designed for skidding with a fixed gear. Look here. The green tread is specifically designed for great skids, and it's super tough -- you may never have to replace it, even after years of skidding. And the silk casing ensures the sidewalls can stand up to wheelies, tailwhips, and other tricks. It may seem expensive at first, but when you consider you'll probably never have to replace it, it's a bargain.
