Yet Another First Century Post

Completed my first Century yesterday. 106 miles. 6 1/2 hours in the saddle.

Up to this point I had done several 62 mile rides but nothing approaching 100.
Although I generally lurk on this sub-forum I certainly found and used some great advise from here.

Knowing this ride was coming up I worked on my fit for several weeks. Saddle height, cleat position, bar height, stem length. I made a bunch of little changes with a 40-60 mile test ride after each. It really paid off! I had some slight pain and knots in my legs around mile 70 but within a couple of miles they just went away. I did the last 30 miles of rolling hills in relative comfort - except for a sore butt and a fierce head wind.

thanks to all!
