Much more comfortable on the ride home. Same temps but low humidity. A cold front pushed the moisture out. Unfortunately that meant I also got a headwind.

Silly Commuter Racing! First I reeled in a guy on a MTB and rode behind him for a little while, then he turned left. I checked my mirror and something was reeling me in!


I denied the person a catch. I was pushing low 20s MPH through a headwind that at one point was so loud, my ears hurt. The person drifted back until I slowed up for a stop sign, then I was getting close to my house, so I dialed it back a bit before turning onto my street. It never got much closer than when I originally spotted it. (~50 yards)

I need a commuting buddy.
