Like JonR, a simple, three rear pocket, half zip (or whatever length) would be fine. Short sleeve 'cause you can always put on long sleeves under it or arm warmers.
It would be REALLY nice if we could get them made out of Coolmax Alta fabric. I love that stuff for riding in this steam bath known as New Orleans.
