Bikes: One brand-less build-up, and a Connondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra Disc. A nicer bike than I need, but it was a good deal, so... ;-)

When I was 25, I never expected:

To work for another 26 years at a job I've come to love.
To have the respect of others in my profession.
To travel within a handful of kilometers of Chernobyl to bring my daughter home.
To be a 51 year old man with an 11 year old kid.
To have the kind of friends I do now.
To love live as much as I do now, aches and all.
To wonder what my grandchildren's world would be like, and be in a position to affect it.
To love my wife more now than I did then.
