When I was 25, I never expected:
- To work for another 26 years at a job I've come to love.
- To have the respect of others in my profession.
- To travel within a handful of kilometers of Chernobyl to bring my daughter home.
- To be a 51 year old man with an 11 year old kid.
- To have the kind of friends I do now.
- To love live as much as I do now, aches and all.
- To wonder what my grandchildren's world would be like, and be in a position to affect it.
- To love my wife more now than I did then.
