Well as summer draws near Ive decided that its high time for a good long bike ride. Ive set my mind on Falling Water (a home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for those who may not know) outside of Mill Run, Pa. 250+ miles west of Philadephia/Allentown either of the 2 locations I would be leaving from.

The reason I post is this:

1. I have never gone on a trip anywhere close to this length and would appreciate any pointers
2. I used google maps new bike route feature and got a route but wonder if anyone here would know where I could find another possibly better route
3. the long chance that someone has actually done this or a similar ride

I may be naive in thinking that this is a reasonable first ride of significant distance to attempt but Im always up for an adventure any help/advice/input would be appreciated!
