Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

PB blaster or similar used copiously and prepare to wait for it to work. The usual recommendation of ammonia or oven cleaner won't work here because it would attack the aluminum steerer too.
