Looking at my training log I think it's beginning to make a little more sense as to why I've been "off" lately.
The week after Battenkill, I put in a 13hr week, next week was a little lower at only 8 (but that includes 2 crits and a couple hard group rides), last week was over 14hrs and this week is shaping up to be 13-14. Hopefully a 4hr week next week will help a little bit.
Question about recovery "weeks" do you guys take like 4-5 days off and then do a couple 2hr rides or take 2-3 days off and do 20-40' recovery pace spins?
I'm taking it easy today as well. Probably 45-60' recovery spin to spin the junk out of my legs from last night. I would have liked to make the tt our team is putting on, but I'm just not ready. Hopefully I can do 3-4hrs tomorrow after school (half day) and finish off the week with 13hrs.
