I was reading a "sage's" post the other day, and he opined "Pedestrians generally hate cars, Car drivers generally hate pedestrians, but they both hate cyclists." He thought it was funny.

I've had the experience with Bubba's Kids on country roads, 25 years ago, but things are better now. The best cure for that kind of stuff is a license plate number, but it's always a very close call when a cyclist and car occupy the same space, often a matter of inches between anger and pure catastrophe....
