Yeah, take the bike to a reputable shop and have it looked over very thoroughly, save the receipt. Go to a doctor and have yourself checked out very thoroughly and if this guy's insurance company gives you the slightest bit of grief, go to a decent attorney and have them checked out.
I'm not advocating fraud but I've had insurance companies try to screw me before and I've found a decent lawyer to be most efficacious.
