You people are reading the article wrong. Mark is expressing regret at not having time for his family. He's not claiming that its the way he wants it to be. I also sense a lot of family disfunction and that he's not prepared to put on a "happy family" face for the media at the moment. He's opened a window on his distress and there seems to be a lack of wisdom to the situation in many peoples responses.
