Bikes: Cannondale CAAD5 and Cannondale Rush

I find it easier to climb in a higher gear than the granny. You get more rear wheel rotation for each crank of the pedals which sometimes helps on the technical stuff. And it kinda encourages carrying a little more momentum. I typically climb in the middle on the front and big cog on the rear.

Heck, I'm almost never out of the middle. Really considering going 1x9 lately.
