Seems like some people disagree with you, and to be honest, perhaps your argument has some validity.

I really don't think my 2100g+ wheels are holding me back - Yet. I've done well in my races this year, and do well on fast group rides out here.

I do feel that my training needs to be structured, specific, and maximized, and from what I'm learning in the book, it seems like the power meter is the best thing to use to accomplish this.
