Is it safe to use Carbon tubular glue on Alloy rims?

Sorry to post a new tubular thread, I did some searching and couldn't find the answer to my question...

I'm currently gluing my first set of tubulars onto an old set of Fiamme rims and was using Continental Tubular glue purchased from PBK. I ran out of glue about halfway through the job, and ran to the LBS to get enough to finish. All they had in stock was Continental glue for Carbon rims.

I bought two tubes to complete the job, but didn't know if the Carbon-rim glue would effect anything with the alloy rims or the alloy-rim glue that's currently on the rims. Anyone have knowledge on the topic? Obviously you can't use alloy rim glue on a Carbon rim, but is it okay to use Carbon glue on an alloy rim?

Thanks for the help, C&V - you guys are lifesavers.
