I am new to fixed gear, and I purchased a used Fuji Track Pro last weekend at a good deal at $400 (I think), but I noticed after riding on the street that the bike is very STIFF… and I could feel every bump.

I did a google and found out that this bike is not for street use, but the route that I will be using it is on mount Vernon trail from VA to DC, which is fairly smooth, and I am wondering if this will be a good bike to commute.

The fork has been modified to have front brake.
