There have been some halfway tempting looking deals down toward the GTA, actually, but more around the $1k mark. I'm not really willing to drive that far to look at a bike in any case.
The used bikes I saw, I was glad I didn't drive an hour to go check 'em out. Like I said above, they weren't bad, but I just couldn't justify spending more for something used, kinda beat up, and without STI for what I could get from BD.
I'm easy to fit, so I feel OK about ordering a bike I never sat on. I have some consternation about how my bro-in-law will do with his bike, but in our price range it's either this route or a Canadian Tire bike...
