Tapers are very personal. What you have there would actually work pretty well for me. I know that you weren't tapering, but you can take the rhythm of that week and apply it to your next taper, maybe just adding a short ride the day before.
In a sense it was taper because it wasn't a lot of hours. But I'm getting old (almost 56) and recovery from intervals ain't what it used to be. In fact I felt like crap warming up and my left knee hurt a little bit. It doesn't hurt now, though.
