Seriously though, Miamijim had a neat De Rosa frameset for a very fair price, actually very close to the value of yours, and it did need a repaint.

Yours will be heading down that road soon, especially if you are going to sink some major bucks into a gruppo. imho

It might be worthwhile shopping for a very competent painter in your area. At least to get some quotes.

On the other hand, someone may hop on here soon and call a repaint heresy.
