How accurate are the size of folding bikes as 'advertised' in the specifications of manufacturers (and Dahon in particular)?

With size and weight as one of the selling points, they could maybe list those specs a bit optimistic (or misleading just how you call it). Eg by measuring without saddle.

Before I buy a folder I need to do some measurements (for storage). If the specs are wrong, I don't need to measure because I can't rely on the specs.
