I have no problem with the seller. I don't know if he was making a joke, though I suspect so. I don't see any negative stereotypes in the ad. The "get a better price" elsewhere is borderline to me. Mostly, I was pointing out splytz1's comment. He said that wikipedia doesn't prove that any comment is offensive, and my point to him is that non-proof of existence is not proof of non-existence. I'd rather not be cast into a giant lot of people who are cheap or dishonest, which is a very negative stereotype.

Most of the jokes I've seen here have given me good giggles, especially from Chicago Al. I think I'll name him an honorary Jew. I just don't want anyone to tell me what should upset me or not.

Honestly, this thread has NOT troubled me. Offended would be a much too strong word!
