Completely Disagree. Aside from the possibility of losing your vendor if you don't sell any of their bikes, Bikes are pretty much the LEAST profitable product in a bike shop. LBS make the majority of their money on accessories and repairs, or at least they should unless their bike wrenches are no good. If a shop is good enough to continuously sell High end bikes, they probably do a Fair bit of business on the accessory and repairs module of the business as well.
