Everything I've read and the guys at the shop indicate that Trek will honor the warranty. The question is, what do they do for frame replacement when it's a frame the no longer make or have in stock?

With any luck either I will end up with a Fisher Ion frame (clearly the successor to the Alpe d'Huez) or I will get a NOS Lemond of an equal or higher grade (I could imagine there's a few lying around in the back of the warehouse.) Or I will end up with a Trek, though none of the ones listed on their website seem to be comparable.
