Once the A race caught me I got back into the fold for the next few laps and recovered. The rain started to come down in buckets so the race was shortened by a few laps. There were two groups of 3 up the road so the remaining field didn't have anything to race for except pride and practice, and no one cared that the lapped riders where in the mix. With 600 meters to go I jumped the field catching them off guard enough that no one chased and held on for the field sprint win.
