You will be replacing the YST every few weeks if you actually ride your bike. Not years. A $60 b.b that seems to put more emphasis on aesthetics than on function, yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it sucked. It's quite hard to make a bottom bracket that sucks more than the YST, that being said.
