man, that really sucks..!! I got hit by a car once, hard..!! but I was riding an old Schwinn cruiser and got hit by an old VW bug....
I caved his hood in pretty good and my handlebars were bent and my derailleur was bent but we were both able to ride/drive away....
if it had been a big, heavy, front-engined vehicle, I'd have been a grease spot....

So I am merely asking a question, but judging from the pics, it looks as if you were hit on the left side of your bike..?
were you riding on the wrong side of the road..? or just walking it across the crosswalk.... just curious....
