Nice, I can't seem to get any body to catch the cycling bug. All my friends/family rather sit around a TV or go out on the town drinking instead.
Honestly, when I got here, I had no idea what to expect. Columbus is interesting. It's midwest, sure, but it's the capital and pretty centralized (as well as suburbed out). Winters are not nearly as rough as some cities in Ohio, but there are some rough days. You just HTFU, layer up, and ride.
Lots of good cycling here though, usually with bike shops and clubs in or just outside the city. The mayor just did his first century and is all high on cycling -- meaning more pro-cycling stuff for the roads!
Not too shabby at all.
