I have messed with the Di2 at our local bike store here in town. I actually really like it, but I agree that it is very pricey. Way too much money for me. The guy at the shop said Mavic tried to make their own versions and had problems with one rider shifting and the signal crossed with another riders causing him to shift. As for pro teams, I dont know any that use the Di2 besides Team Sky.
