. It just takes a whole helluva lot of force to stop the pedals clean with that much momentum. I'm thinking most of the guys/gals doing actual skidding are running a smaller gearing than that, though I could be wrong. With what I'm running it hardly seems worth the trouble (or the pain).
Ive been running 79 gear inches for years and never had brakes. No problems skidding as much as I want.
Must be in your method.
