Bike fitting before new saddle?
I am finally in the market to replace the original OEM saddle on my Giant OCR1 - after 4 years, it's starting to get a bit soft and creating some discomfort. I'm hoping I will be happy with the first saddle I choose so that I don't go down the path of so many erstwhile saddle-seekers. FWIW, I'm looking at Specialized, Fizik, Bontrager, and tempted to give Brooks or Selle An-atomica a try. This could be a long process.
To get to the point, I was trying a couple of saddles at the Specialized dealer, and the guy remarked that my riding position looked overly stretched out, and they also provide full bike fittings (for $200). Does anyone have experience with the Specialized BG fit system, and would it be a good idea to get fit before the saddle purchase?
