I once bought a pair of minty 90's MTB's out from under one of the rampant local flippers. Flipper had too many bikes on his car already; left a deposit with the yard sale folk and had gone to unload then pick these two up. I waved an extra $20 under the seller's nose. Greedy fellow took it.

That weekend, said flipper was effectively two bikes short of his hopeful C-list spam quota.
