Nice riding weather. Upper 40s, dry, sunny, with an ever-so-slight headwind off Lake Champlain. I have the Continental Traffic tires on the Trek now. (Sort of dual-purpose on/off pavement - fat, low drag knobbies.) Now I can take other ways home. I get bored riding the MUP and/or roads day in & day out.

A woman on a road bike came out on the MUP in front of me. I reeled her in without trying, and gave her a friendly ding of my bell before passing. We exchanged hellos. Then I reeled in a woman on a mountain bike with bags and stayed behind her until we left the MUP. I passed her, and saw a lot of broken glass in the road so I pointed it out to the woman.

Eventually, road bike woman came up behind me at a red light and ran it.
