STP Route
Hi Guys,
This year is my first STP. I live near Seattle so I'd like to check out the route as much as possible.
Could someone tell me where exactly is that nasty hill in Puyallup? I'd like to take a crack at it
before the race.
I did the Chilly Hilly this year and climbed Baker Hill Road like a dying sea otter, but managed to
get up it without walking the bike. So, I am wondering how the hills on the STP will compare to
Bainbridge the hills around Kitsap County. I'm on a mountain bike with slicks, so I'm a little more
concerned than my road bike riding friends.
Any practical tips/advice are appreciated. I've read The Complete Book of Long Distance Cycling and am
taking my training seriously... But I feel like I need every advantage possible.
