I'm 6'1 175 and wear the XL. Buying an XL was a bit humbling when I'm used to M or L, but it's what fits. I'd go with the Assos height sizing, which I think put you in a L (IIRC...I was right between L/XL by height). Don't try to size down just because you think it's what you would normally wear in other brands.
