It's nice, isn't it? I discovered it when I was looking for a route to my folks' house in Wheatland. The trail becomes the levee road and takes you all the way to Rio Oso.
I really like it. Especially when the wind is at my back! It's arrow straight and there's hardly anyone on it. And it has the great wetlands view the whole way.
But it's completely unshaded so I doubt I'll be using it much this summer.
I would have never tried it if it wasn't for Bike Month. It probably will never be my main route but it'll be great for fall and spring for the "long way" home.
