Managed to break my first spoke in 20+ years. I guess it broke on the way in this morning and i didn't notice the tire wobble. I did hit a bump sort of hard. Cheap replacement wheel I picked up at a REI garage sale...actually not horrible..Deore Hub with a Weiennamn (sp) rim. I have been intending to replace for over a year but haven't.

I noticed the bike drag when I was getting it out of the lobby of my office. Thought I had misaligned the canti's when I put my bungee back on the bike. Spun the wheel and saw it. Took it easy on the 4.7 mile ride to the bike shop for a spoke and then home keeping my fingers crossed it wouldnt fold up with my fat self on it. Thirty minutes had it fixed and trued back up and ready to go.

Despite the spoke it was still a nice ride in really nice weather.
