They are the same (same hubs, spokes, and gigantex rims) as many other 50 mm tubular wheelsets you see as said above. For the money, it is hard to go wrong or find better. Building your own will come out much more expensive. I know because I looked around, and there will be lots of unknown unless you go with someone that has done this plenty of times. They are also aero, and can be used for TT if you are into that. I would have no hesitation in using these for racing either, although I don't race at all. You need an internal nipple tool if you are to adjust them, which can be had from bikeisland = bikesdirect along with extra spokes for front and back.
