It was an easy ride in and no rain, first day without rain. The temps are about the same around 8 C (47 F). Today should be the begininng of a rise in the
afternoon temps, as yesterday afternoon was somewhat raw with chilly temps and rain. It is amusing that in the dead of winter, we would kill for for temps in the 40s F, but now that we have had a taste warmth, we want it all the time.

Yesterday, the lady who organizes the Bike-to-Work day for central Maryland called into a local radio station to promote the event on friday. When she hung up the raidio guy said it was a good idea, then went on to say remember to wear helmets and obey traffic laws, "as this is one group that does not do that." I wish there was a whole group of people riding every day; I just find the comment interesting.
