Comes down to more than that (Quarks drown, loads of firmware updates to non-proprietary head units, greater failure rate, no user calibration) and he's talking budget in any case. A used SRM stomps the stuffing out of Quark.
I guess would you like a used wired SRM Dura or pay $1000+ more for something you can't change rings on without hassling sending it back, that might just die and that can't stand the weather?
Quark's fine but it's not all that budget if you look at all the options.
There's a 10+ year old SRM out there that's still out there giving great service for the 5th owner. Ex and JRennie hammered the heck out of it and passed it on.
