I don't mind if people wear helmets, however foolish it is. What bugs me is all you guys who wear helmets and preach the safety schpiel, then turn around and run reds, run stop signs, ride in the gutter and the door zone, and generally do everything you can to make your ride *less* safe -- all the while believing your magic helmet will protect you. Don't even try to tell me that you don't -- I see it every day.
Wait a min. Didn't you just say the guy above had "facts" and one of those facts was that "whith a general level of safety-consciousness (and so with a more cautious riding style)" And then in the very same post, say people who wear helmets act more reckless?
Can you at least keep the facts straight for the duration of one post? That would be great. Thanks.
