All work very well mechanically - if you have problems then something is not set up right. Otherwise it is a matter of preference.

Exactly. Sram is rally good, bang for buck, weight-savings/buck WOW. I like Shimo snd Csmpy. Some of you never got to ride Simplex and Suntour, to make comparisons. I rode Ultegra when it was not Ultegra, it was 600.Very nice gruppo

I liked downtube friction-shifting. On the bar indexed shifting is better, I think
