This crap about stopping being a major burden to a cyclist is laziness-induced garbage -- odd as it may sound for a bike rider to be lazy, but there it is -- and actually is the major part of OUR contribution to the conflict with motorists.
You want respect, start by acting respectably.
That was exactly the motivation for my response. Waiting means staying on the bike longer. Isn't that what the point of taking the thing out of the house and to the street about? Maybe not. I know it is for me, if I ride in the street at all. I choose the bushes and trails. No waiting for a thing. On the bike all day.
The fact that the biker ran a stop sign and 4 stop lights (there are four on the rear of the bus at the top of the rear panel), the one on the side of every bus, is the basis for the fact that he was wrong.
The lights are just to the right/left at the top out of this image. Strong message there in the center.
