It's the May Long Weekend ... in Canada ... and from what I hear, it's a snowy, cold long weekend in some parts of Canada. But here's hoping my fellow Canadian riders can get out for some long rides over the long weekend.

It is not, however, a long weekend here in Australia. Pity.


Rowan and I got out for a 30 km bicycle ride today ... and we froze out there!! Winter has definitely set in. The high for the day only got to about 12C, and dropped while we were out there. We were decending at a fairly good clip at 9C, and by the time we got to the bottom, my legs were frozen.

My head isn't quite ready for winter yet, so I'm not dressing properly for it.

My knee didn't feel any worse out there than it has all week, but we took the ride pretty slow.
