I bought this Cannondale Killer V500 new back in 1996. I haven't rode it in a long time (mostly roadbike) but wanted to get back into some light mountain bike riding. I tore it down, cleaned every thing up and polished the frame. Put on some new rubber and chain, Man!! It looks almost brand new. I know it's behind the times with no suspension but I've always loved the frame.

The only thing I do not like are the brakes. They really SUCK!!!! Anyone have suggestion on upgraded brakes that would work on my ridged forks?
