All of the Shimano bolt-on cable housing stops (the ones that bolt over downtube shifter bosses) and the braze-on (really weld-on) stops on both of my Litespeed frames are threaded M5x.8 mm. Also, the adjuster barrel in a Shimano rear derailleur is likewise M5x.8 and, as best I can tell, the adjusting barrel on a Campy rear derailleur is the same. Smart money says M5x.8 mm.
