Advice needed!! (Bridgestone RB-1 content)

I'm going to look at a 1989 Bridgestone RB-1 tomorrow that I'm quite interested in. I've been looking for a nice late 80's steel rig that I can put a lot of miles on. I've heard these bikes are quite nice so I'm hoping this will suit my needs

The CL ad reads as follows:

Classic Bridgestone top of the line road bike.

Original owner - bought new in 1989. 56cm lugged steel frame & fork with all original equipment (except for tires and bar tape). Suntour GPX components. 31.5" standover height.

Bridgestone catalog can be seen here: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/bridgest...ne-1989-14.htm.

Lightly ridden over the last 20 years. Has been in storage for most of its life. Tuned up and ridden recently - still shifts cleanly, wheels are true, very nice ride. There are several cosmetic paint scratches (as shown) - no rust, dents or dings. Very good overall condition. $350 or best offer.

I guess my first question for you CVer's is what are your opinions/thoughts on this bike in general (ride, geometry, tubing, etc). Also, how are the GPX components? I'm not too familiar with them.

Second, is price. $350 seems pretty reasonable to me, given that the bike is in good condition. The seller does throw in 'or best offer', so any suggestions on what I could try to ask for it?

Thanks a lot CV
