Golden State Criterium E3: had good legs but burned my matches going for the last prime with a WR-like 700m flyer. If I'd launched from 695m I'd be the proud owner of a LBS gift certificate, but I got caught with 5m to the line. Tried to recover over the last few laps but could only manage a pack finish.
Golden State Circuit Race E3: good legs again and kept repeating to myself to not take any flyers and to stay out of the wind as much as possible. This time, waited too long, did not move up when the time was right, and finished in the pack with a full book of matches.
Sigh.
