i ride fixed gear bikes but have no real interest in fixed gear videos.

if it is trick riding then i can sort of see why all the videos...but even all these trick fixed gear bikes seem counter intuitive. all the tricks i see them do just seem like guys doing super easy BMX tricks on bikes not meant for tricks. i was watching a fixed gear trick video and it was like *WOW hes riding around in a skate bowl" or "WOW he jumped 3 stairs" or "WOW he did a barspin"

but then theres all those other videos of bearded hipsters and their "EPIC" bike trips where they take a plane to Japan or Russia or Egypt or wherever and ride bikes. WOW guys riding bikes around places that arn't America. awesome. you've blown my mind and cultural perspective, maaaan.

...and then theres the vids of dudes in girl pants weaving thru traffic and blowing red lights like a jerk. its incosiderate hipsters like this that think its so cool to ride hard and disobey road laws that make moterists hate all cyclists, not just the ones breaking laws of the road.

Why cant hipsters ride bikes without having to make it an "epic" documentary?
