Last week I was on the way to work on a bike path (on left of the street) with 4 car lanes to the right of me. In nyc most streets are single direction. So at the next intersection a car was about to make a left about 40 feet ahead. But since he have to cross the bike lane to make a left, he stopped the car and signal for me to pass while 3 cars behind him honked.
