I bought three pairs. Sold them all as wheelsets. When they arrived on my side of the world, they were quite a bit more expensive, but still cheap enough to compete with a new pair of Miche Primato's which I think are the same quality but with a lot of added weight.
I strongly feel that Formula cartridge bearing hubs (which is what the iro's are) are more than you'll ever need on a track wheelset. Having said that, I own a phil/Veep set and a custom Mack hubbed rear wheel that I could never justify the cost of in terms other than bling (Phil) or lack of weight (Mack).
